What is cellulite or orange peel effect?

Cellulite is characterized by the appearance of dimples or bumps under the skin, giving the skin surface an uneven, bumpy texture . It usually develops in areas where fat deposits are more pronounced, such as the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, and arms.
Several factors can contribute to the appearance of cellulite, including hormonal fluctuations, heredity, sedentary lifestyle, poor diet and aging skin.Although cellulite is not considered dangerous to health, it can be perceived as unsightly and have an impact on self-confidence.

How to combat the orange peel effect?

During your first consultation , a targeted examination and diagnosis of the type of cellulite are carried out. Then, we guide you towards the technique best suited to your needs.
Body FX
An advanced anti-cellulite treatment technology, Body FX uses the combined action of radiofrequency and negative pressure for non-invasive body contouring. Different areas of the body can be treated, and there is no downtime or scarring. The goal is a reduction in cellulite, an improvement in skin texture and a more sculpted and toned body.

The result? Firmer skin, redefined eyelids and a more youthful, revitalized look.
Ultraformer III
An innovative device, Ultraformer III is indicated for firming the body and combating sagging skin. Its operation is based on ultrasound waves, which have a dual action: muscular and dermal. This combination will ensure skin remodeling as well as skin tightening via the stimulation of collagenesis.
Morpheus 8
The Morpheus 8 treatment combines radiofrequency and microneedling to promote skin remodeling and regeneration. By heating the deep layers of the skin, this technique stimulates collagen and elastin fibers and produces a tightening effect. Localized fat deposits and orange peel skin are visibly reduced and your body is reshaped.

What causes cellulite?

There are three types of cellulite that can be caused by different causes and phenomena:

Adipose cellulite
The most common type found in overweight people. Fat cells accumulate, impair lymphatic drainage and create tissue inflammation. The skin will then take on a bumpy appearance on the stomach, thighs, buttocks and hips.
fibrous cellulite
Most often resulting from skin aging, fibrous cellulite is characterized by a hardening of the collagen fibers surrounding the adipocytes. Painful, it is generally located on the thighs and buttocks. This is the most difficult type of cellulite to treat and is called embedded cellulite.
water retention
An alteration of lymphatic circulation will lead to water retention , with swelling and edema that will deform the skin with the appearance of dimpling. This is aqueous cellulite: thighs, calves and ankles are the areas generally affected in this case.
